Itinerary
On this page, you will find all the important basic information about the SWISS CLASSIC WORLD RALLY 2024.
Route
The route of the SWISS CLASSIC WORLD RALLY begins and ends at the Lucerne Exhibition Centre. As part of the prologue in 2024, a single-day stage will be driven (from 2025, likely two-day stages). Each day stage covers 180 to 200 kilometers. The route follows attractive routes in the canton of Lucerne and neighbouring areas. It is kept secret and must be navigated using a roadbook.
Classification
Alle Wertungsprüfungen enden an bekannten Zielen. Messung mittels Lichtschranke.
Es werden keine konstant zu haltenden Schnittgeschwindigkeiten gefordert. Allerdings kann es sein, dass bestimmte Punkte zu genau vorgegebenen Zeiten angesteuert werden müssen.
All teams will compete in a single class during the prologue (2024). From 2025, multiple classes are planned. In the shared class, route finding is done using Chinese characters (roadbook) and simple map sketches. All timed stages end at well-known destinations. Timing is measured using sensor barriers. There are no constant speed requirements to maintain. However, it may be necessary to reach certain points at precisely specified times.
Equipment
In the shared classification class during the prologue, there are no equipment restrictions.
Vehicles
The vehicles must be at least 30 years old (for 2024, up to and including model year 1994). Vehicles with contemporary modifications are also allowed to participate. Teams with pre-war vehicles receive a coefficient of 0.9 (the number of penalty points is multiplied by 0.9).
Entry fee and services
The entry fee for each team (2 persons) is CHF 795. The included services are listed below and apply to 2 individuals. Registration for the SWISS CLASSIC WORLD RALLYE is exclusively electronic. After completing the registration form and accepting all conditions, you will be automatically redirected to purchase tickets (1 ticket per team). Subsequently, you will receive a confirmation and the ticket via email. Further information about the rally will be provided online via this website or individually via email.
